🔹 God’s promise and oath give strong encouragement and hope.
🔹 Jesus is a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
🔹 Jesus has an unchangeable priesthood and is able to save completely those who come to God through Him.
🔹 Jesus is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and does not need to offer sacrifices for His own sins.
IV. The New Covenant And Christ’s Perfect Sacrifice
📖 Hebrews 8–10
🔹 Jesus is the Mediator of a better covenant established on better promises.
🔹 The New Covenant includes God’s law written on hearts, forgiveness of sins, and a personal relationship with God.
🔹 The earthly tabernacle and sacrifices were shadows pointing to Christ.
🔹 Christ entered heaven itself with His own blood.
🔹 His one sacrifice was offered once for all and fully deals with sin.
🔹 Believers can draw near to God with confidence through the blood of Jesus.
🔹 Believers are warned not to turn away from Christ after receiving the knowledge of the truth.
V. Faith, Endurance, And Looking To Jesus
📖 Hebrews 11–13
